Upcoming changes to Moderation (March 13th Release)

If you are currently using Facebook Moderation or Twitter Moderation tools in Adobe Social, we would like to notify you that these tools will be phased out and updated with a brand new Moderation tool on March 13, 2013.

This is an exciting update that has been in BETA for several months and includes a unified moderation interface for Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and AEM Communities with advanced features, workflows, and support for social relationship management and other use cases.

Dates to Remember
Feb 28 – General announcement
Mar 6 – Access to user orientation training videos and migration guide
Mar 12 – Last recommended day for admins to complete action steps in migration guide
Mar 13 – Release day: Moderation tool update (coincides with 3.2.1 Release)
Mar 20 – Webinar: Moderation use cases and workflows (registration site TBA)

New Feature Highlights

Multi-feed moderation
Moderate inbound content from Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, and onsite Communities powered by Adobe Experience Manager in customizable moderation feeds, side-by-side, within one dashboard.

Social profiles
Display basic profile info, interactions over time, and recent activity, across social networks where available, for a single social customer with internal notes and other valuable data.

Moderation overview dashboard
Monitor the performance of customer service and social support reps by tracking stats for issue status, average time to close, assignment loads, and more.

Preparing for the Release
For a smooth transition, we recommend the following at this time:
1.    Share this information and timeline with all Adobe Social users in your organization today.
2.    Admins should plan to set aside 30 – 45 min to read the migration guide and complete the requested action steps by Mar 12. The migration guide will be emailed to you on Mar 6.
3.    All users should plan to set aside 15 – 30 min to review the user orientation video and other training materials which will be emailed to you on Mar 6.
4.    Put a save-the-date on your calendar for Mar 20, 10 – 11 am PST for an informative webinar on best practices on how to apply the new Moderation capabilities to different use cases.

Next Steps
We will include the migration guide and other training materials in the Preparing for the Adobe Social 3.2.1 Release email next Thu, Mar 6. Just make sure to read through the materials thoroughly and complete all action steps before Mar 12.
