Adobe Social’s legacy Facebook Moderation tool will be retired on August 21, 2014. This includes all related functionality, including Facebook Moderation, Facebook Issues, and Facebook Escalation Workflow. We first announced deprecation of this functionality on February 28, 2014 via email.
The new Unified Moderation tool, launched March 2014, replicates all of the above functionality in a new moderation and social relationship management tool that supports Facebook and other social networks. You will need to use the Unified Moderation tool to monitor and moderate Facebook activity beginning August 21, 2014.
Here are some important dates to keep in mind:
July 21, 2014: This date is the deadline for administrators to review the migration guide and complete required action steps to prep your account for migration.
July 28, 2014: This date is your deadline for notifying all Adobe Social users at your company about the change. We also recommend users complete training materials by this date as well.
August 8, 2014: This date is the recommended last day your team should use the legacy Facebook Moderation tools. This will give users time to adjust to the new Unified Moderation environment before the retirement date on August 21, 2014.
August 21, 2014: You will no longer have access to legacy Facebook Moderation functionality and related tools, including Facebook Moderation, Facebook Issues, and Facebook Escalation Workflow. As of this date, all your data stored in legacy Facebook Moderation will be deleted and will no longer be accessible.
