XSD isn't working properly as a Data Connection

Hello All -

Hoping that you can help me with this issue.

I am making a series of forms that will share the same schema document.

The problem that I am having is that when I wire the XSD to the forms in the Data View --> Data Connection in Designer, the XSD isn't activating correctly -

See the attached screenshots - one is mine, one is the same "Medicaid" document schema from the SNC Solution Accelerator sample.

In the Medicaid form, you will notice a little icon that indicates that the schema is hooked up properly and is active.

Though my XSD loads and is seen as valid, this icon does not appear, indicating to me that the form is not wired to the schema correctly.

Does anyone know what would be causing this and what I need to do to fix it?

Never mind - a fellow team member answered my question.

This occurs when you use "Normal Binding" rather than explicit binding.
