I'm trying to get hold of a trial installation of live cycle 3.5 to work with flash/flex 3.5 is this available anywhere?

Is it still possible to purchase this version also, if so how?

Could you please explain the reason to buy an older version?

We have a large set of products developed on Flex 3.5/Flash 3.5 and are not yet ready to move to version 4, due to the work entailed and the fact all the products would need to move as we wrote a shared framework on 3.5.

Currently we are suffering performance problems transferring data from the client to the server on one of the projects using the framework and wanted to trial some of lifecycles features to see if it alleviates our problems.

Are you experiencing any problems using LiveCycle ES4?

The trial download is available @ http://www.adobe.com/devnet/livecycle/downloads.html

I believe It would require us to move to Flex/Flash4 which is a significant amount of development and would require us to move all products and the framework, is LiveCycle 4 compatible with Flex/Flash 3.5?

Thanks,

Hey Russell,

Below is the link where you can check the compatibility of Flex versions for LC ES4.

http://helpx.adobe.com/livecycle/help/livecycle-es4-supported-platforms.html

I quickly compared it with LC ES3 and it seems both are same w.r.t Flex version support.

Here is the link for LC ES3:
