What is the recommeded version of SDK for LiveCycle ES 8.2/JBoss?

I read on the installation manual to use J2SE SDK version 1.5.0_11 or later.  We currently are using Window 2003 and 1.5.0_9 and are experiencing problems with JBoss service stopping without any entries on the log.  Thank you,
