Hello,
I am experimenting with the Digital ID for signing forms. I have the Sign on submission working fine. I'm now experimenting with the Signature Field. When the user completes the signature and saves the file, the buttons in the form are no longer active.
Is this working as intended? Is there a way to save the file and still submit by email?
Thanks,
MDawn

I suspect that you have not created a custom signature collection:
If you set up a new signature collection, you can select the objects, like button, that you don't want locked when the signature is applied.

Hope that helps,

Thank you. Your response was very helpful, as they normally are!
I am having some trouble understanding in your sample what makes the header hidden and visible.

Hi Margaret,
This was from another thread. The issue (from memory) was that while the application of a signature locked master page objects, once the form flowed, these master page objects became unlocked and available.
So the workaround was to have the master page objects as readOnly and have these inputted before the first signature was applied. Then in the preSign event of the first signature the header is hidden.
Thread is here: Locking fields on Master Page
Hope that helps,
Niall
