Using Acrobat Pro DC to edit forms created in acrobat X

Avatar

Level 1

I have recently upgraded from Acrobat Pro X to Acrobat Pro DC

On trying to edit a form (created under Acrobat Pro X) I get an error message stating I need Live Cycle Designer to edit the form.

On searching forums, I see that Live Cycle Designer was part of Acrobat X, but not of subsequent Acrobat versions.

I have also found that those upgrading from Acrobat X to Acrobat XI get a free upgrade to Live Cycle Designer

(see Upgrade Adobe Designer | Acrobat XI)

My questions:

1.     Does my upgrade from Acrobat X to Acrobat DC also qualify me for a free upgrade of Live Cycle Designer?

2.     If so, how do I obtain it?

3.     If not, how do I purchase Live Cycle Designer separately and how much does it cost? (I have tried finding this information on the Adobe website and elsewhere but failed miserably).

4.     Is there any other way of editing the forms I created with Acrobat X?
