We currently have an installation of Livecycle 7.0 on the server and are in the process of obtaining Livecycle ES2 installable so that we can upgrade Livecycle.
We were looking at some Adobe help documents and came across this pdf:

It mentions that "When upgrading an Adobe® LiveCycle® 7.x server to Adobe LiveCycle ES2, you must first upgrade to a
LiveCycle ES (8.x) server before you upgrade to LiveCycle ES2."
Does this mean that we have to obtain the license for Livecycle ES also? Or will Livecycle ES be available when we procure Livecycle ES2?
