Streaming large documents to PDFG

Hi all,

I have a question for you.

I am about to start a project where I need to stream one document at a time from a .NET application to PDFG and convert them to PDF. The documents can be arbitrarily big and I would like to know if there are some kind of issues with large files (eg. larger than 5 Mb)?

Can anyone of you help me out here

Thanks in advance

Sincerely

Kim Christensen

Make sure you increase the timeout

We have a customer that converts very large documents from MSWord and WordPerfect to PDF using PDF Generator.  They have successfully converted 1GB documents however it can take a very long time (over an hour).  They are using a Watched Folder interface however (as Hodmi previously indicated) we have had to tweak their timeout settings to prevent LiveCycle from killing the task.

I would run the largest files you expect to see through and then if you encounter timeouts, contact Adobe support.  They can walk you through how to increase your timeout values.

Regards

Rob
