storeContent set categories?

I am trying to set the category for content using the storeContent component.  The category is already in Content Space, but I'm not sure what format I should be sending it it.  Right now, I'm just sending a string value in the Attributes Map entry for categories, but this is causes an error.

Also, can you also make it more explicit as to what exactly do you mean by category? Is it an aspect/property ?
