Signature errors

When signing a document in Reader, users are getting the following error message.  How can I fix this? (Method: 'sign' cannot be called because doing so would violate this document's permissions settings.)

The form was creadted with LC ES2, reader rights were enabled and all of the users have digital signatures.

Does anyone monitor these postings?  Is there another place I should be asking this question?
