setInstances(n) with forms for LC Output

Hi,

I have a form that have an expandable field that is populated on the server. I need to figure out the height of that field so I can populate the rest of the page with the correct number of subforms. I have a script that does the calculation in the layout:ready event but I can´t find out where to put the script that sets the correct number of instances. If I put it in the layout:ready event, nothing happens. This is for LC Output (non-interactive form). Any ideas?
