Selecting Specific Record from Exit Event

Hello:

I am trying to find code for selecting a specific record within a database on the exit event of a field.  I have watched Paul Guerett's eSeminar on this, and he gives a great example of exactly what I am looking for, but the print is so small I cannot read it.  I have also reviewed Stefan Cameron's blog on selecting a specific record, but it discusses selection from a drop down list and this is not what I want.  Can anyone help.  Thanks.

Here is my sample that I used for that seminar ......it wil not work on your machine (you do not have my DB) but you can at least see the code.
