Scripting Difference between LiveCycle Designer 8.1 & ES?

I have been building different variations of a particular for and found that when I do the same exact coding in ES the subform either shuts down the checkboxes makes them non functioning or if I put the script in the header it works. If I use the calculate script in the same spot as usual in 8.1 no issue.

LiveCycle Designer ES in Windows 7   LiveCycleDesigner 8.1 in Vista

If i take the form over to the Vista machine it will work as expected as I code. Is it a bug in the program? I have called Adobe twice and they can't figure it out.

Installed as upgrade on windows 7, uninstalled and installed clean twice and still have issues.

I woudl need to see the forms in action to be able to determine what is happening ...can you send the forms and a description of how to replicate the problem to LiveCycle8@gmail.com
