In Windows 7 (and possibly other operating systems), when I start publishing, the default Screensharing window must open. However, it is very unreliable, and most of the times the window does not popup.
By window I mean this ("Start Screen Sharing" window):

Is this a known issue? Is there any workaround or fixes to this issue?
Thank you for your time.

I agree.
I am on Mac and have FP 10,1,82,76 (Debug version) installed and can't see this 'Start Screen Sharing' dialog at all.
I have wasted hours tried different systems and browsers but no joy!
We need help!
Cheers

Can you send us a little bit of sample code? One thing some users have
reported is that removing the "s" in their roomURL (so http:// rather than
https://) resolves a certificate issue that's preventing the popup from
happening. We're looking into the cert issue and should have it fixed soon.
thanks for the feedback!

OK - It looks fine now.
Infact, I put in password in the AdobeHSAuthenticator instance and it started working!
Mega!
Thanks a lot.

Hi,
i also ran into the same issue (using Windows 7 with latest FF and IE, FP 10.1) and the ConnectNow add-in gets installed but then, an "Adobe ScreenSharing" window gets in the system tray and i can't get to open it.
I tried with the application you can find on this page (Publisher):
http://www.flashrealtime.com/screen-sharing-in-flash-now-available/
I'm going to DL the SDK and try the example on my dev environnement

Hi again,
i tried with the examples (Flex 3.5 and Flex 9 LCCS SDK), connected to my own room and it worked nicely, the window popped up and allowed to pick what i wanted to share. I also tried uploading the example and it worked as well so something must be wrong with this example:

Anyway, great job

Hi,
There was an error in ScreenSharePubSub.mxml example file that has been fixed and fix is coming in next few days in a patch release. Was it the example that you also faced problems with ?
Thanks

Alright, i didn't try that one, i only used :
ScreenSharePublisherExample.mxml
ScreenShareSubscriberExample.mxml
But the SubPub is surely the one used in the online demo. Couple people complain about it in the comments

We found a problem with the chain of SSL certificates related to the new domain that happens only with certain browsers/OS versions. We should get it fix it pretty soon, but in the mean time the suggestion from Nigel (use http://collaboration.adobelivecycle.com) should fix the problem.
Also, I was trying to reproduce this problem yesterday and what I got on my machine is that the dialog is there but always hidden behind my browser window. Don't know if this is what is happening for some of you but we have investigating also this problem.
