Hi All,
Is it possible to rotate an image field to 45 degrees?
Thanks in advance
Norbert
Hi,
If you select the object and apply a standard rotation (90, 180, 270 degrees) in the Layout tab.
Then if you go into the XML Source tab, you can manually edit the rotation to 45 degrees.
Good luck,
Niall
Hi Niall,
I already tried what you mentioned but it does not work.
Thanks for taking the trouble to reply though!

Norbert

Hi Norbert,
Hmm, works here ok with an "image" object:
Doesn't work as well with an "imageField" object. It gets cropped, showing only the part of the image that falls within the extent of the imagefield object.
So "image" object should work, "imageField" probably won't.
I am using LC Designer ES2 and Acrobat 9.
Niall
Wow Niall,
That was a quick response!
However, did you try previewing the PDF?
I'm using LiveCycle ES 8.2 and Acrobat 9.
I need it to work on ImageField Object and NOT image object.
Regards
Norbert

Hi Norbert,
Screenshots of the preview are on the forum web site.
The rotation does not appear to work on imageFields, so I think you will not be able to achieve the effect you are after.
Sorry,
Niall
Oh ok!
I thought the screenshots were from the design view because when I rotated via the xml it would show up rotated in Design view but would return back to normal in preview mode.
Thanks Anyway Niall.
Sincerely appreciate this!
Cheers
Norbert
