Rooms Disapear from Room Console

Avatar

Hi,

I've created rooms then log out. Once I log back in its gone. I know the room exists but I cant see it in the console.

Refreshing doesnt help.

It would also be nice to enter the name of a room and enter it and not have to select it from the list (in the case that I have a lot of rooms)

thanks.

You probably have more than 1000 rooms and we only list the first 1000.

I agree we should have at least a way to select a room or have a way to paginate between all rooms. We'll add it to the feature requests for a later release.

Are you trying to access the room with RoomConsole or DevPortal ? (none of them works correctly with large room sets but most of the operations available in DevPortal can be done using the server-side scripts (that can be run from the command line).

Thanks Raf.

Im looking at it in the room console. Trying to build something new and its just quicker to get access that way.

Even when I have applications with less than 1000 rooms  I still loose everything.

Im not doing the back end (dont know ruby) there isnt a way to do CF from the command line is there?

thanks again.

No, can't do CF from the commandline, but the java version comes prepackaged in a runnable jar file.

You can just run "java -jar LCCS.jar" and see how to use it.
