Hi,
We have a Rights Management server running, and all secured documents display and print with a small watermark in the top left hand corner.
Occiasionly, a user reports that the Watermark shows with an Extreme size, which makes reading the document nearly impossible.

Note: This is a very intermittant problem, but it's not clear what might cause it.

I have not seen this behaviour before. I would suggest that you gather information about each system when the problem occurs, things like...
Acrobat\Reader version
What is the operating system version (Windows XP, Windows 7 etc)
If you close the document and re-open it immediately, does the problem persist.
Does the error occur with the same policy (a policy can be applied to multiple documents)
You may also want to contact Adobe Technical Support to see if this is an issue they have seen before.

This was Acrobat Reader 10.0.3 on Mac OS.X. Server is Livecycle ES1 SP3 Turnkey
The problem appears to be intermittent and not reproducible.
I'm not sure if it is the same policy, but definitely the same Watermark used on all policies
We've reported it to Enterprise Support
