return specific record from database

Hi guys,

I have a read only text field connected to an access database. It is returning Field1. from Table1.

It currently returns the first record and if I set up a button to navigate through records it will cycle through them.

I want to assign a specific record to this field so that it will always return record 1.

Can anyone help with how to do this?

I want to be able to have a series of values being returned from the same table/field in the database

eg:

Text box 1 = record 1

Text box 2 = record 2

Text box 3 = record 3

any help at all would be appreciated!

Basically what I want to be able to do is to pull several specific records from a table?
