Repeating field value in pagination

I need a suggestion:

I have a document with a lot of tables that must be paginated

When pagination starts, is it possible to replace some field value to keep track of the point?

Not sure I'm following. if you just want to indicate there is more, you can use overflow leaders/trailers.
