Recording Alternatives to WebDav

Hi

I don't suppose anyone has managed to store their recorded files in Amazon S3 using the HTTP PUT request?  I can push to Amazon S3 from Webdav folder but I was hoping to find a direct way to implement this with S3?  Any ideas?
