With authenticated WebDev, not able to get LCCS archive Screen sharing files

Avatar

hi,

With authentication on webdev,  archive/zip files has not been updated from LCCS,

but without authentication on webdev everything runs fine.

Not able to identify the exact reason for failure or any logs.

To verify the WebDev, drop files from other server and it work very fine.

could you please explain the reason for that ?

thanks,

Vishal

Can you privately send me your “repository URL” with the credentials ?

There has been a problem with recording that causes some “strange” credentials to make the service behave badly (bad case of non escaping a URL ):

Anyway, we just deployed the fix so you can also try again now with your credentials and check if that was your problem.

Sorry, I was pretty sure I replied to you right away but I can't find the message.

Anyway, your host is NOT accessible from the outside world (I just tried again and I can't curl to it). Actually your main host is, but when I access the WebDAV url I get redirected to an internal host (some IP address on 192.168.*.*)

If you can't host your WebDAV on an externally facing server you should setup your current externally facing server as a reverse proxy for your webdav server.

Hi Raff,

Our host is very well available on internet as well , though we are using port forwarding but with the command i sent you in private message if you use that from any host on internet you will be able to upload any file. we have verified this , and it works fine.

You can give it a try right now , temporarily we have removed authentication for testing purposes. you can try uploading a file and then you can verify from the same url if that gets uploaded or not.

Or may be we can fix up a time suitable for you  , so that we could finish this off as its been along time now and we have to go live on prodcution in 2-3 days time.

Thanks

Sorry but today I can't even access your server (yesterday I was getting a redirect response). I really don't know what to do if your server is not accessible from the outside world.

Hi Raff,

Im unable to reply to your private message , http://forums.adobe.com/pm-post.jspa  this page goes blank after clicking on Send Message.

The logs you sent , i used the same command using curl from 3 different linux host on internet and it uploaded the files fine.

Are you uploading the file from behind any firewall?

We need to go live today , but will not be able to go live without authentication issue gets resolved.

Can we have a quick call on skype or where you want to resolve this ?

Also , please confirm the IP range from where LCCS service uploads the files on our WebDav ?

Will wake up late today to talk to you and resolve this

Pasting the logs here , the command used was same as you sent in your private message , even changing the IPs for security reasons.

Connected to IPADDRESS (IPADDRESS) port 80 (#0)

Server auth using Basic with user 'USERNAME'

PUT /dav/pankajfinal.txt HTTP/1.1

Authorization: Basic ZGF2dXNlcjphZ3VzZXJkYXY=

User-Agent: curl/7.18.2 (i386-redhat-linux-gnu) libcurl/7.18.2 NSS/3.12.2.0 zlib/1.2.3 libidn/0.6.14 libssh2/0.18

If you use the direct URL of the file by taking IP and credentials from your oprivate message , you will be able to see this file , yes Directory listing will not work , only direct file names will.

Thanks
