Trouble importing images - not shown - only broken fram icon

Avatar

Hi guys

Im trying to import custom artwork into livecycle -- im making the images in illustrator and exporting them as BMP images.

When i try to import them into my livecycle form (create image frame, select BMP from desktop) all i get is a gray broken frame icon.

I see BMP is a supported image file type, so an ideas what is going wring here?

Id be greatful for pointers (once again.... thanks guys) as im hoping to create most of my headings/set type in illustrator and smack it into the forms as images - so if anyone knows whats wrong - could point me to a decent tut etc it would be greatly appreciated.

Here's hoping im just being dumb ---

also while im asking - can vector art be introduced into livecycle? - i didnt see it supported -- presume you might have to size to suit and then export as a bitmap???? but then i'd get grey frame error

help.....

cheers

I cannot user your image either.

If i convert it to another format (ex: jpg) it works fine. If i open it and save again (save bmp format) it works fine, but your image does not.

The only difference between your orinal bmp and mine is the colour depth. Yours is 65K mine is 16.7M, but i don't see any difference.

Anyway, the image is in the attach files section.

As per the vectorial information, check out the 3D componentes of the 8.2 and up versions of livecycle, maybe they will do what you want.
