Signature Prevents Additional Attachments

When one of the digital signature fields on my form is signed, users are prevented from attaching additional attachments (documents). The form is routed to several people and signed as it goes through the workflow by each participant. The signature fields are not set to lock the form. Is this normal operation of signature fields and if yes, is there a way to prevent this locking out of adding additional attachments?

Do you want to attach documents only after first signature or after each signature?

If it is needed only after first signature then the first signature can be certifying signature with MDP options of annotations , form filling and digital signatures

If the requirement is that attachments can be added after any signature and there are multiple people who would apply digital signature then also the attachments are possible but only page level attachments (via annotations > paper clip icon attachment and not document level attachments via Attachments tab) but in this case an yellow triangle will be shown for signature after which attachments are added and signature status would be that there are some unsigned changes after this signature

Are you creating the form using Forms Designer or Acrobat?

No unfortunitly, I have not found a suitable solution.

I understanding the locking concept but cannot understand why you cannot add attachments once a form has been signed

Is this a static or dynamic document.  If static could you use the commenting tools and add the attachment through that avenue?
