Secure part of a document

Can I apply a Policy to part of a Word document or PDF?  I want the first para or page open to all to see but the rest of the document secured with a Policy.

Maybe you can generate PDF packages.

If the first page of a document is confidential, then create a single-page PDF and protect it with LCRM.

Using Acrobat 9, you can merge this protected PDF file with another one. It will create a "PDF package".

When a user will open the PDF package, it will ask for an authentification to open the first document only.

If you need to automate the creation of PDF packages on the server-side, then you should use the Assembler API (available with LC PDF Generator, LC PDF Output or LC PDF Forms components).
