Id say install the turnkey, then you just click next, next, next, etc.. and it'll install the JDK, JBOSS, mySQL DB and ES2 and configure it for you.  but im guessing its not available for linux.

I've not installed your exact configuration but If you download the ES2 install zip file, you do the following..

1.  Donwload and install JDK 1.6 build 14 - 30, but not 29. 1.7 isn't supported.

2.  Unzip the JBOSS.zip file to your target local.

3.  Configure xml files.  run.sh, adobe_ds.xml, the mySql version of the mssql-ds.xml, login-config.xml.. there may be others but i dont recall off hand.

Start your jboss and check your logs.  Check to see if the jboss console will come up...

4.  Install mySQL and define DB tablespace for LC.  Dont know what is involved here.  We are SQL Server.

5.  Install ES2 components

6.  Run ConfigManager.  Before bootstrapping, you'll have to start your LC service.  configMgr will create the DB tables at this time.  CfgMgr will also create some ear files that you'll have to copy and paste into your JBOSS deploy folder..

7.  Check your logs and see the adminui console comes up
