Radio Button Sums

I have a form that has 40 sets of two radio buttons.  Based on which radio button is selected, I need to add into four different sums.  So total one would be Group1Radio1 + Group3Radio2.  How do I do this?

Let me make sure I understand. you have a row with 2 buttons. Based on the button you want to know how many of Button 1 was selected, how many of button 2  is this correct?

Let me try to draw a picture:

x button 1

x button 2

x button 3

x button 4

Each set of two buttons are exclusive.  I need a total for button 1 + button 3.  I need another total for button 2 + button 4.  I have over 80 radio buttons, each made up of two.

Sorry i am not quite there yet. So you need to know across 80 rows how many 1 & 3s there are and how many 2 & 4s?
