PDF Viewer Compatibility

I created a PDF form in Adobe LiveCycle Designer ES 8.2 and uploaded it to our companies intranet site. A majority of the computers in our company use Foxit PDF Viewer and after clicking on the hyperlink to display the PDF in the browser (happens in IE, Chrome, and FF) often times the message "Please wait... If this message is not eventually replaced by the proper contents of the document, your PDF viewer may not be able to display this type of document." How can I edit the form to be able to display with different PDF viewers than Adobe Reader? What options do I need to set in LiveCycle so that other viewers aren't restricted from rendering the document and it is compatible with them?

Thanks for your help.

In my humble opinion you can only change the default settings.

You have to set the Adoeb Reader as default viewer. Other forms don't supported XFA-forms.

If not you can't sure that your forms works correct.

Kind regards Mandy
