Need changes to save as prior to e-mailing

Ok I might be missing somthing here. I have a form where I need my 11 locations to select their location. Once they do this they need to fill out some info on the sub form that contains all their contact info. Once they have filled out the data they need to e-mail it to the customer. The customer needs to see the changed form. When I do a save as the location selection sub form re appears and the customer would have to select the location again for the data the employee entered to show up again. This does not work for me. I need the form not to revert back to the location selection placeholder sub form when it is sent via e-mail as a attachment.

The reason for this is the data the employee fills out is needed to identify the customer better.

The location selection sub form goes invisable when my staff chooses their location. It needs to stay invisable once they have edited the form and done a save as. It does not! It appears again when the attachment is opened. How do I make it stop.

Thanks,

Richard Bane.

By the way I am really beginning to despise this software. I have not created one form with out having some issue to ask the forums about. There are no good tutorials on the web. And I spend hours trying all kinds of scenarios that do not work.

Hang tough!

For starters, check that the File > Form Properties > Default tab, that the Preserve script changes is ticked to Automatic:
