Hi All,
I've downloaded the Adobe Livecycle ES 2.5 Virtual appliance (Suse Linux with JBoss) and now I'd like to do the following:
1. re-Install and update the VMware tool since it is running very slow and clunky.
2. how to install the "Quick Fix on the LiveCycle ES2 server" --> this is needed to make my SharePoint Server 2010 to work with Adobe Livecycle ES 2.5 connector ?
Any help and suggestion would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks.

One of the main design goals of the appliance is that its size should be as small as possible (under 2 GB). To achieve it, it runs SUSE Enterprise Linux 11 JeOS (Just Enough OS) with the bare minimum of Linux packages.
We also removed the LiveCycle install folder. So re-install is not an option. You use it as it is.
The performance appears to be clunky probably because you are using it from within the VMware Player/Workstation environment. Try connecting to it using Xming directly from your desktop. The readme provides you with the instructions:

We'll take this as a feature request and will look at adding the Sharepoint Connector to a future release.
Thanks for the reply Jayan,
No, I'm running it on VMware ESXi 4 server

With the current version on Suse Linux it is not possible to install the SharePoint Server 2010 connector ?
