Drop down selection not saving

Hello,

I have a form with a drop down placed at the bottom of the page, as a name selector, same as "page 1 of  # ". The main content of the page is wrapped in a subform and has entry lines that may dinamically extend the form from one page to more pages, however, the name selector from the drop box will stay on every page, same as "page 1 of  # ". The problem that I am encountering is that the selection of the drop box will not be saved. When the file is reopened the selection shows for a short second then resumes to blank. Any ideea on how to allow the selection to be saved?

Hi Jessica,

You will probably need to set the binding of the down down field to something, in the binding tab of the object palette.  Seems fields on body pages are bound to "use name" by default but master page fields are no bound by default.
