Problem with the appearance of radio buttons

Avatar

Former Community Member

Hello,

I have a dynamic form with a lot of radio buttons (Yes-No choices with either Yes or No tagged as default, a cross appears for the default choice). It usually works fine.

I hadn't used this form for quite some time, but when I opened it this morning, all radio buttons have the figure "6" instead of the usual cross.

I have no idea what happened.

Any idea ?

Thanks in advance.

Could you insert a screenshot from your hierrchy, script and a preview from your pdf?

Sounds like a font problem, if you open the form in Designer does it give you a font warning?

Hello,

Here is a screen shot of what my form looks like. I also include a screen shot of the XML source:

I found out that it appears so on the computers of some people, not on everyone's comp.

The main difference is the bug appears on the comp of people who have Acrobat 10 and new fonts (my company merged with another and as part of the new brand we have to use new fonts).

The crosses show on the comp of people who do not have Acrobat 10 and do not use the new fonts.

There is no font warning.

Thanks for your answers.

Make sure Embed Fonts is checked under File>Properties>Save Options.
