Placement of Signature Fields Acrobat Pro DC Mac

First, let me observe that Adobe's documentation on how to do things is a mess, and searching for answers is a significant time investment. That said, I am having great difficulty placing signature fields in documents so that they don't overlap text once uploaded for signature. If you allow auto detect it inserts the field in the proper place over the signers pre-printed name, but after its uploaded where they sign, with their email address listed below, gets placed at the bottom of the document. If you manually place the email signature field and size it for the space to sign, after it is uploaded where they digitally sign is sort of in the right place, but their email address underneath still ends up outside the boundaries of the box and overlaps text. As far as I can tell there is no way to preview before you upload (preview just shows you the document with the same field box, not the signature with signers email below as it appears on the copy they get after uploading), which at least for me has resulted in multiple cancellations of documents out for signature and many unsuccessful subsequent attempts to format a proper signature block for a document. As previously noted the documentation is a mess and yields results across the spectrum of adobe products 99% of which are basic statements by Adobe about the ability to place a signature block without any further explanation on properly formatting that block.
