Pdf Script for writeing into a text file

I have a pdf file, and from that pdf file button click I have to save some data into a text file. Is this possiable.

I have tried java scripts in the botton click. But conventional way of writeing into the txt file is not working her, they are showing 'Undefined' error for every java script which is communicating with the envronment out side to the pdf.

(here i cannot use any ALC processes, I can only use ALC designer)

Please suggest way to meet my requirement.

You wil not be able to create a file outside of the PDF space unless a function has been provided for you .....for example you coudl save the data from the form because a function has been provided for you.... but you cannot create a file through javascript ...this woudl be a security hole.

My pdf file have a table in it and i want to save the table content into a text file, on a button click. Is that possiable??

I dont want the entire pdf file , i just want to save a part of it. And i need it in a text format, atleast in an xml format.
