PDF need to work on Ipad

Avatar

Hello everyone,

I have made an interactive PDF with Livecyle Designer. Everything works just fine on my pc, but when I try to open it with my Ipad, I can not use the text field or any of the drop down menu. I am a beginner in all this, so is there any simple way to transform or to save in a form that Ipad user will be able to use?

Thank you!

Alex

Not really. It all depends on what PDF viewer is being used on the iPad and what type of XFA form it is (static vs dynamic). There is no hope for dynamic forms to work, and static forms have far less support than regular Acroforms. If it is a static XFA, it would be far better to redo it as an Acroform using Acrobat. Same thing if it's a dynamic XFA that doesn't rely on any dynamic features.
