Page Scaling Problem - Livecycle -> Acrobat

Avatar

Level 2

I am having an issue getting my Page Scaling Setting to transfer from Livecycle to Acrobat.

I have created my forms using Livecycle, and set the Page Scaling Options in Livecycle.

When I go into Acrobat to edit the document properities, all fields are grayed out and non-changable.

This is causing the PDF I want to save as "Reader Extended PDF" to not have my page scaling setting in place.

Any suggestions?

If you design dynamic forms, Acrobat cannot change the settings for page scaling.

Acrobat can do this only for static forms.

But, you can control those settings in Designer via JavaScript.

That seemed to be the problem.

All my forms were being saved as dynamic in livecycle.

Setting them to static allowed the option to save into acrobat.

Thanks
