Page Numbering in Adobe Document

Avatar

Level 2

I created a document in Adobe LiveCycle Designer 8.0 and included the page number feature on the Master Page used throughout the document.  However, I would like for the first 2 pages to not have page numbers, leaving the official Page 1 to display on the third page of the document.  What is the best way to accomplish this?

Thanks.

Use 2 master pages, one without numbers, one with.

Set the option to 'Include in Page numbering' on the Master Page with numbers.

Deselect the option on the no number master page.

On each of your page objects, select the Master page you want to use on the Pagination tab.

Page 1 & 2 use no number master page, rest use Page Number Master page.

Hope this helps

Thanks.  Do you know of anyway to do so without using 2 separate Master Pages?  I was hoping to not have to recreate the work that had been done....as this is the case on a few documents I have created.
