I'm having problems with text fields that are longer than the box.  I've been trying the subform as flowed but it still isn't working.

I haven't used this a lot so any help would be appreciated!

Hi,

If you select the textfield and go to the Layout palette, there is an 'expand to fit' checkbox under the object height. Tick this and the textfield will expand on exit to show all of the text input. It will shrink if text is removed from the field.

Because you have a flowed subform this will work a treat.

Good luck,

Well, I did try that but it didn’t work. If I forward my form would you look at it?

If you upload your form onto Acrobat.com or another file sharing site and then post the published link/url here.

Hi,

You just need to save the form as a Dynamic XFA Form in the save as dialog:

Parallels Desktop1.png

Expanding textfields and flowed layouts are dynamic behaviour and require the form to be saved as dynamic. If the form is saved as static then these fetures will just not work.

Good luck,
