need for database installation

Hello,

If i only need to install the LiveCyle Forms service, i do not need any process, workflow or any document storage components....do i need to install the LiveCycle database ?

i am trying to avoid installing it if not needed.

Yes - because the global config info is kept in the database, User Manager needs it, and all DSCs go in there.
