My form is not working properly - HELP!

Avatar

Hi! I have posted my form several times over the past few months to this forum with specific things that were not working, and I still can't get everything to integrate properly! I have a deadline to submit it - can someone who is awesome at LiveCycle and up for a challenge pleaseeee help me get this working? I can send it to you and let you know what I'm trying to do. I will be eternally eternally grateful! I'm sure what I'm trying to do is not difficult for anyone well versed in this program, however I am not a programmer and am having trouble with the more advanced operations!

You can share your document so I can have a look at it..

Steps to share a document..

1. Go to URL http://Acrobat.com
2. Create an account if you don't have one.
3. Then login to the website.
4. In top left corner you will see a button called Upload.
5. Click on browse and select the file you want to upload.
6. After Uploading, mouse over on the uploaded file. Click the down arrow button and choose Share document.
7. Then you will be prompted a popup window at the lower left corner. Choose "Publish it" option.
8. In the next pop up window choose "Copy Link" option.
9. You can paste the link in the forum thread.

Thanks

Thank you! https://acrobat.com/#d=o1RKm8fEsJV78sDysRcHiQ

I believe you may have helped me with this previously. When anyone else

other than me opens the form they get many errors that make it impossible

for them to update the form. I can't see the errors so I'm not even sure

what's wrong! Also, when a "follow-up" is added, and the document is saved

and closed out of, it is deleted upon re-opening the document. I think last

time you had taken the "hidden" line item out of the initialization,

however, without it, when "add follow-up" is clicked, two line items are

added instead of one. I've tried so many things and can't seem to get this

thing to work right! I appreciate your help.

Here is the corrected form.

https://acrobat.com/#d=CC*WVV8oExDDpSEaeLc*dg

The error message is displayed because you are trying to delete the rows below the minimum number of rows required.

Let mw know if this helps.

They are still experiencing a massive amount of errors, however, they do not

come up on my computer. They do not have LiveCycle installed on their

computer - can it have anything to do with that?

Can you share a screen shot/ text file with all the errors.. That way it will be easy to understand what is going on with other users..

Users do not need LiveCycle Designer/ Acrobat to open the PDF. Adobe Reader is enough.

The errors that come up are:

Invalid enumerated value:ValidationState

The Fault Occurred on Line 542, 1134, 1280, 1403, 1520, 1591, 1677, etc.,

etc.

But it works for some users and not others.

It could be the Reader version issue.. The users who are getting errors might be using a lower version than the form is expecting.

To check what version the form is developed for: goto File Menu-> Form Properties. Choose the default tab.

See the Target version. Compare the user's Adobe Reader version with the one in Target version.

If they have a lower version then they should upgrade to the correct version.
