Hi,

I am trying to create a pdf form which can act as a template. I want to then add text from a fdf using forms, manage data and import. This would be done in adobe acrobat 9 pro. This I have managed

I want to add a button that will allow users to press and it automatically goes to a known constant directory and inserts an image file with a known constant name into a field.

Is livecyle the best tool for this? It would seem a fairly simple task.

You cannot use LiveCycle for this as you are working with an AcroForm form type (LiveCycle supports XFA form types). I woudl guess that this can be done with AcroForms but you are asking on the wrong forum. I woudl post you rquestion on the Acrobat part of the forum.
