Log: Invalid Version

Greetings,

In LiveCycle Designer version 8.2.1 I am working on a simple form with a couple of tables. I received the following error after finishing creating the table and begun to fill it in with text fields.

While Generating PDF Document...

Invalid version: The current version of the XFA template model exceeds the capability of Acrobat/Adobe Reader 8.1

Form version is higher than target version.  The form may not run properly on target.

Could anyone explain what the issue is and how to solve it. I don't understand why this rather simple document would not run in 8.1.  I have to recreate this document because the text disappears unless you click on it in 8.0 and I can't figure out why it does that either.

This is appearing bacause you have built your form with a target version greater than the version that you are using. you can set the target version that you are designing for in Designer under the File/Form Properties/Defaults .....the Target Version is the 1st option. Simply change it in your design and the message sould stop.
