Livecycle scribble functionality does not work correctly in pdf reader

Hi

I have been having trouble with signature scribble in my forms.  It allows me to add it without any issues, but when the forms are opened in PDF viewer it only gives users the option to upload a signature from a file - what I need is the functionality for users to add their scribble signature by signing with a mouse.

Please can you guide me in enabling this functionality correctly.  I am not clued up on JavaScript.
