i was running ./install.bin as user livecycle but also as user root. the target directory was set to /home/livecycle/jboss...
there are no fatal errors but the instalation does not seem to be finished as i am missing directories and files as they are on the vmware image when i compare it.
please see the attached install log if it makes more sense to you.
