I am trying to use the feature dropdownlists in livecycle designer
I am a code Virgin , I have a question
I have a database with all predefined values
Row 1 Row 2 Row 3 Row 4 Row 5
1. 1.1. 1.2. 1.3. 1.4
2. 2.1. 2.2. 2.3. 2.4
3. 3.1. 3.2. 3.3. 3.4
is it possible
When select 1 in a dropdownlist
I am tryiing to get When selecting 1
in the first dropdownlist value 1
in the second dropdownlist value 1.1
in the third dropdownlist value 1.2
in the fourth dropdownlist value 1.3
in the fifth dropdownlist value 1.4
When selecting 2
in the first dropdownlist value 2
in the second dropdownlist value 2.1
in the third dropdownlist value 2.2
in the fourth dropdownlist value 2.3
in the fifth dropdownlist value 2.4
There is only one value to display in the dropdownlist but the standard value before select anything is a blank value
Etc
The standard value of the dropdownlist is blank or a dotter line like this ....................
Is this possible with an odbc link?
or is this possible by set item value? With in the dropdownlist options
I dont knowhow in which corner I have to find the answer
Is it possible or only by using code?
