Livecycle Designer 8.2 Form Won't Open in Safari on Mac

I made several forms using LiveCycle Designer 8.2 ES.  The forms work well in Firefox, IE, and Safari on a PC, and Firefox on our Mac OS X.  However, the forms don't work with Safari on the Mac.  I have tested it, as well as others, and they have the same problem. The error message states that I need to download the latest version of adobe reader.  I have the latest version and it still doesn't work.

Is there something I need to do to my forms to make them work with Safari on the Mac?  Or, is there something I need to do to the settings with Safari on the Mac to get the forms to work?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi,

I suspect that it is a setting in Acrobat/Reader that needs to be ticked:

What I suspect is going on is that Safari is using Apple's Preview to open the form in the browser and this will NOT work. See previous post about forms in Preview. Re: Alternative PDF Viewers

I haven't deployed html forms on the Mac.

Hope that helps,

Niall
