Joining Two pdf files

Hello all,

I have two pdf files one is "file1.pdf" and another one is "file2.pdf",

So is there any way to merge these two files (file1.pdf, file2.pdf) into one file

using javascript in livecycle.

Hi Deb,

If you are using the full Enterprise Suite, you may be able to use a component/module to join the PDFs, but I am not sure.

If you are using LC Designer to create the forms, then no, you wont be able to join them using script. The only way I know of "joining" them is to open both in Designer and manually copy the contents of one form into new pages in the other form.

Hi Deb,

As Niall mentions you can use LiveCycle Server's Assembler module to do this. If you do not have th eLiveCycle Server suite then if these two PDFs are not forms Acrobat can do it (but it wil require user control - not javascript).
