Is livecycle pdf generator use microsoft word to convert .doc file to .pdf?

Hi,

     my question is :

                             Is livecycle pdf generator use microsoft word to convert .doc file to .pdf?

  If it do so?

                            can we use lc pdfg as server side application? as microsoft office is for client side use only.Multi user using same office application

                            can hang the application....

                            do any one have explanation on this??

Yes it ca use MS-Word to convert the doc to PDF. You can also use Open Office.

LiveCycle PDF Generator is a server side application that needs to run on a server. You can configure it to launch multiple instances of MS-Word to improve performance.

You need to create multiple Windows accounts for every instance of Word.
