Is it possible: Previously entered data/text is recalled as you type

Hi Everyone,

I created a form using livecycle for our Nursing staff. They use this form to do their assessments on patients.

The form has many questions that have repeated answers (ex, most patients have same diet restrictions....same safety restrictions).

I'm trying to see if Adobe can add this function into the form field:

As the nurse would type an answer into the form field, let's say the Diet Restrictions question.......Adobe would "recall" the previous data that the nurse already typed in before in this field instead of the nurse finishing to type this response herself.

So, let's say the nurse puts in a "low sodium" diet in the Diet Restrictions question....next time she opens the form and goes to the same question...and just puts in the letter "L" ....the software would automatically filter and put "low sodium"

Is this possible?

Please help....

Hi,

this is possible with a setting in Adobe Reader or Acrobat.

Open the application and then press Ctrl + K to open the preferences.

On the left select "Forms" and then activate the "Auto-Complete" functions.

Press OK and restart the apllication once.

Thank you.

I did as you said and it worked.

However, it does not store information for every single field...only some fields "remember" previous data.

Is there any way to fix that all fields predict rather than just some?
