SOLVED

inserting x-y graph in form using either FormCalc or JS

I have searched the LC forum for any information on how to script an x-y graph from tabulated and/or calculated data within a form.  Has anyone had the opportunity to do this, or seen any information on how?  I would appreciate any and all suggestions and/or references on where to go look.  Much thanks in advance.

Hi Renee,

John Brinkman has an excellent sample of a column chart inside a XFA form on his blog (http://blogs.adobe.com/formfeed/2009/05/diy_column_chart.html).

I think that it would be difficult to implement a line graph or scatter chart in LC. However John's solution for column charts works very well.

Good luck,

Niall

Thank you Jono.  I found that one as well.  I plan on using the one shown on the last page. -rpeterson
